In September 2019, for the first time, OWXC took part in the Welling10k, a fundraising event for the Jimmy Higham Bursary.
This is a very popular annual fixture and is run within the grounds of Wellington College. Almost all the current pupils and staff take part (some more enthusiastically than others!), as well as parents and guests.
This was a good opportunity for us to fly the OWXC colours and compete against some potential future members of our squad.
Barnaby Walker finished 3rd, Simon Martin 5th and Ross Maclagan and Adam Badrawy were close behind them.
Lauren Woods was possibly the first lady to finish but, as there are no official published timings or placings, it’s hard to tell. However a great time was had by all.
